Romsey and Totton Swimming Club ( THE RATS )

Now that the Tony Weston Gala is over (Well done RATS - strong 3rd place finish), our attention turns to the club's own Novice Championships.

If you are interested in taking part, entry forms can be had from the club desks on Monday or Fridays, or printed off from this site. Just click on the "Entry Forms" link at the top of the page.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. There are no restrictions on which Events that Level 7/8 Swimmers may enter.

2. Club Swimmers may not enter these Championships if they were placed 1st to 3rd inclusive in any Event in the 2009 Club Championships or if they achieved a Hampshire Qualifying Time in any Event for the 2010 County Championships.

3. This championship is designed for new, inexperienced or club night swimmers to gain competition/gala experience and to record their personal best times.

Entries must be handed in to the club desk

(Romsey or Totton) no later than Friday 28th May 2010

Entry fee is £1.50 per race or £5.00 if you enter all four in your age group.

Age groups are: - U9, 9-10, 11-12 & 13+

Gemini Trophy Gala is now at Fareham on 6/02/10 doors open at 1800 please be there by 1745 if you have been picked

Hi Gang , I have still not received any entries for this years trip to Bridport , see me tonight if your at Club to sign up for it , last chance !! 

Also we are looking forward to seeing you all upstairs at Totton on a Friday night for coffee and cake , only 50p so come and support your club and have a chat with me about anything club related , your support is needed to move the club forward in the coming months :).

Hi everyone , well theweather did not dampen the spirits at our Summer BBQ on the 30th August, 80+ attended and enjoyed some fun and a good bite to eat , specialthanks to Andrew and Lyndsey Miles for hosting it at their wonderfulhome and a big thanks to Simon for running about for me , very muchappreciated .

Thanks to Celia, Fiona, Andy , Taz and everyone else who lent a hand or brought along a pudding which rounded of a very good day .It was good to see some of the newer members and their families attending 

,I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did ,

Hi all , well I've been away for a few days and now want to make sure your all ready for the rest of the holiday training sessions , if you want your place in the squad for the Rother League in September you best get down for the extra pooltime you all need !! the Mars Bar Challenges before my break were a success so, because the ones who have really pushed themselves this summer, I would like to say well done and thankyou for turning up so frequently and working hard , the results of which you will surely see in the not too distant future And a big thanks to all the parents and coaches who have gone the extra mile to make sure you made it for the early mornings .

Next up , The summer BBQ is this weekend , I am looking forward to seeing you all and enjoying a great afternoon ,lets hope the weather is good to us for the day , though every contigency has been taken to make sure if it is a bit nasty we have cover to cope with it . see you there ,
