Romsey and Totton Swimming Club

Congratulations !!!!

Hi Everyone , a great night had by all who swam at the Rother League meet on Saturday , we won the gala on the night with 195 points , just 4pts ahead of the I.O.W, so it was a bit nail biting at the end not quite knowing who had won , Andover came in 3rd with 184, Gosport 4th with 174, Eastleigh 5th with 168 and Ringwood 6th with 138pts ,A great evening with lots of cheering from the gallery and superb support poolside from the whole team , Steve and Sue midships sending out the troops to Myself (Starting end) and Emily ( Girls Club Captain) at the other . With final words of encouragement and lots of vocal support we did our best to send our swimmers of into the fray , I can honestly say that everyone gave their best and the results showed at the end of the night with a terrific win , well done to all of you , you did the club proud . It goes to show that when we train and work hard and enjoy the fun and laughter we can really work well together , lets keep up the hard work to make this a really good year , extra training finally pays the results for you all , see you all soon , Paul

PS. The summer is coming up fast and I feel a BBQ event coming on to get the social side of the club really buzzing so I will post place and time so we can get us all together for a bite to eat  and a drink,
