Romsey and Totton Swimming Club

 27th October

Hi gang , I will be looking to you all to give your very best over the coming months , with the Club Champs looming and other Gala we are involved in it will take dedication and commitment from you all , I know you can step up to the plate and produce some great times to make us and yourselves proud of your efforts, I will be approaching you all over the next few weeks to go with me to Open meets in January and early February to prepare you for the County Champs in the spring , the first will be a level 4 meet to try and get you qualified for the county champs the next will be a level 3 meeet to make you more competitive and the a level 2 to encourage you to push for that personal goal at the Meeting . I hope you will be open to the invitation and give it your very best efforts .

On another note , Steve is going back into hospital in the near future and will not be with us for quite some time so we wish him all the best and a speedy recovery  .

Now whilst I know we are all busy people these days I would like parents to try their best to get the children to extra training sessions, since opening the upstairs gallery on Friday nights, its enabling  me to get to know you all and see if we can help co-ordinate lift sharing so that the swimmers get the opportunity to train a bit more . contact me if you can help out say once a week with a near neighbour to share the workload .

Hi Everyone , well done to all those who travelled up to basingstoke on Saturday night , some great results and hard work , unfortunately no win this time but some PB's and great effort from those who were new to the team ,you did really well ,I will publish results as soon as I can .

Many thanks to all who attended the Summer BBQ today , I hope you all enjoyed yourselves , sorry the weather was not so kind to us .

Steve is now out of hospital and recovering after his surgery , I hope along with me that you all wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him soon .

Hi everyone , just to let you know , Jonathon has had a motorcycle accident on his travels in  the US and is on his way home, he has  7 broken ribs and broken clavia, so lets send him all our best wishes on a speedy recovery .Good Luck Jonathon .

Jonathon Hawins is in the US travelling the Pacific Highway , (West Coast ) !! and is drumming up support for the club on the way from south to north , check out the Rats t-shirt in his photos ,anyone else who is going anywhere exotic or interesting for their hols , send me your photo's and a little note and I will do my best to get them on the album , remember to wear your Rats shirt !! Novice Champs tonight at Totton , good luck to all taking part ,lets see some good times and PB's set , work really hard and enjoy it :o)

Good luck to all those going to Basingstoke for the Rother League meet on Saturday , make sure you are there on time please . Have some fun and keep up the good effort made by you all at the Gemini . Lets make this season a good one .

Also ,a good luck notice to Erica Fogg in Sundays "London Marathon"  , well done qualifying to run with the Elites , a great achievement in its self .
