20 Jun 2026Novice Gala 2026
We had a fantastic turn out for our Novice Gala, well done to all our swimmers that participated - there was some wonderful swimming and every swimmer should be really proud. Also, a huge well done to our Senior Club Captains for organising and a big thank you to all our senior swimmers that gave up their Saturday afternoon to officiate and make the gala possible. An amazing team effort. This is something RATS excels at - everyone working together for the greater good of all our swimmers.
20 Jun 2026Summer Social 2026We hope everyone had a great time at our Summer Social! - a big thank you to Tottonians Rugby Club for allowing us to use the venue and to those parents that gave up some/most of their evening to run the bar, cook or tidy away - it is much appreciated. It was a lovely sunny evening so we could eat and drink outside - some of us staying and chatting beyond the 10pm finish! It was a great opportunity for parents to socialise outside of the pool and the swimmers and siblings were happily entertained with cricket, rounders, quoits and football....until sunset!

16 Nov 2024Novice Gala (Christchurch)
The Club is really proud of the fantastic effort from all the swimmers. RATS came a close second at Christchurch with 5 speeding tickets! Everyone swam confidently and should be really pleased with their individual effort - well done. As RATS hosted this round, also a big thank you to all those parents that helped the gala to run smoothly.

Wow what a fantastic Club Champs - two weekends of great swims from everyone that participated. Well done. We had loads of PB's and consequently we now have more than 100 automatic and consideration times for Hampshire Counties 2025. All the swimmers should be proud of their efforts and determination to beat their own times and for the support that they showed their fellow swimmers. A big thank you also to all those Coaches/teachers and parents that gave up their weekends to support the swimmers and enable such a successful event.

Well done to all our swimmers that participated in the Novice Gala on 11th May 2024 - it was a great afternoon of swimming and everyone seemed to have fun. A BIG thank to all our Club swimmers for organising the gala and helping to officiate - you all did a fantastic job and rose to the challenge, allowing the gala to run smoothly.
31 Mar 2024Hampshire County Championships 2024AMAZING – huge congratulations to all that swam at the Hampshire County Championships. RATS had a total of 34 swimmers in the Freestyle and Medley Relays, each swimmer putting in a great effort to make the Club proud. We had 14 swimmers competing in individual events bringing home a total of: 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze medals. Of those 14 individuals, 86% achieved a PB – fantastic effort!
