Romsey and Totton Swimming Club runs a well respected and thriving Learn to Swim programme. It has developed over recent years in line with the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS). This is an all- inclusive programme taking the non-swimmer from his or her first splash to developing confidence and competence in the water.

Mondays:  19:00 – 20:00 at Romsey Rapids, during term time only

Fridays: 18:30 – 20:00 at Totton Swimming pool, during term time only

Lessons are currently from £8.50 per 30min lesson, payable half termly in advance and subject to annual increase.

The programme is managed at by Steve Harrison together with a team of dedicated, ASA/STA qualified swimming teachers. They are ably assisted by some of our current senior swimmers who have competed at County level and above, providing good role models to our young swimmers.

- Children are accepted at age 3 from complete beginners through to improvers.

- Lessons are run with a maximum of 8 swimmers per class.

Opportunity is available for fast-track entry into the Multi-Level Training Squads of Romsey and Totton Swimming Club for those swimmers displaying the ambition, potential and enthusiasm to succeed.
