Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. They help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water safely, and compete in all our sports.

Their vision is of a nation swimming and we strive to inspire everyone to enjoy the water in the way that suits them. They work with our partners to create engaging programmes that enable everyone to be active, have fun and stay healthy through swimming.
Ensuring people are safe in the water is of paramount importance to Swim England and they work closely with partners to keep water safety high on the national agenda.
At it's heart Swim England is a membership organisation dedicated to supporting clubs like RATS and members to develop and succeed. They maintain the laws of the sport and run world-class national events that are open to all.
They also operate a comprehensive range of qualification and education programmes for teachers, coaches, officials and tutors.
Action packed few days at the pool this weekend for our swimmers. Well done to all those who took part.
The first of six sessions started on Saturday 20 September!
AMAZING – huge congratulations to all that swam at the Hampshire County Championships. RATS had a total of 34 swimmers in the Freestyle and Medley Relays, each swimmer putting in a great effort to make the Club proud. We had 14 swimmers competing in individual events bringing home a total of: 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze medals. Of those 14 individuals, 86% achieved a PB – fantastic effort!
